LA Adventures, Brand Previews, & The Weekly Edit.
Happy Friday, friends! I just got back from a quick trip to LA and feel so invigorated after spending time with other stylists! I was in town for brand appointments with Rosetta Getty & Co. After working virtually this month, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to chat with like-minded women who are as fashion obsessed as I am. I left the previews feeling so full after chatting with these ladies for a few hours!
This all had me thinking…is it time for me to spend more time in Los Angeles? While I am really enjoying San Diego, this city is not the most style forward place. Yesterday a thought came into my mind, “I’m a wardrobe stylist. Why do I live in a city that doesn’t have many shopping options?” That hit me like a ton of bricks. I think the solution to feed my fashion soul more often is to go to LA for longer periods of time.
All of this to say, I am by no means moving to LA (at least not ATM), but I definitely have a pull to be there more. That city has always had my heart, ever since I was a little girl. Every time I leave, I feel inspired and excited, even through all the chaos. And since I’ve already lived there before, it still feels like home. I know my way around. I have all my places. There’s so much shopping. It’s just time to focus on scratching that itch to test LA out again.
The funny part is I think a few weeks ago I told y’all I was feeling very comfortable in San Diego. And here we go again with me changing it up once more. However, I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t allow myself to act on this curiosity. I don’t want to think two years down the line, “What if?” So, if you see me going to LA more often, this is why! I’m broadening my horizons further from San Diego slowly but surely. I deserve to find what the best possible life for me is and that’s exactly what I’m setting out to do. Before I headed back to SD today, I grabbed this for breakfast. I’ve heard amazing things about this. I would definitely recommend. Super yummy!

This is the new style of jean I’m seeing everywhere! I am on the hunt for the best ones. I’m planning on trying this one from Spanx & this one from Good American.
-Trending: Black Lace
I keep seeing everyone wearing outfits with black lace. Loving this look on Morgan Stewart!
