3 Pieces to Add to your Spring Outfits
Here are the items I'll be incorporating into my clients' wardrobes this season!
Hi Fashion Friends! Long time no see on here! I have been doing some business housekeeping. I recently wanted to streamline all the different platforms I use and that included how I send y’all my blog posts. Spoiler alert…Substack made the cut! I love providing y’all with all my styling tips and this platform makes my job so much easier. All of this to say, I am moving away from FloDesk to focus on Substack! So, if I’ve moved you here, that’s why. Welcome to my Substack Era! Moving forward, all my blogging content will be posted here. Thank you for sticking with me! So happy you’re here! :)
Now that that I have your attention, on with the fun stuff! Today, I’m focusing on the 3 pieces you should add into your wardrobes this spring. While there are so many options to choose from, I believe these particular items will take any basic outfit to the next level and make them feel fresh for this season. Without further ado, here are my picks…
LIGHT WASH STRAIGHT JEANS
If you don’t have a pair already, this is your stylist reminder that it’s time to invest! My rule of thumb for spring is to change over your denim washes from dark to light around mid-March or early April, depending on where you live. So, if you haven’t already, now’s the time! The lighter wash will pair well with any spring color palette. And the straight leg style is flattering on most body types. They will go with everything in your closet and will even make a t-shirt and sneakers look more put together. Trust me!
WOVEN/RAFFIA BALLET FLATS

While ballet flats are nothing new, I have been very interested to see all the different variations emerge from this one shoe style. I am particularly drawn to the woven or raffia version of this trend. This is an easy item you can add into your shoe wardrobe to make any outfit feel more current and fresh!
SPRING BARN JACKET
If you’ve been around since the fall, you know that I am a barn jacket enthusiast! And I don’t know whether it’s the coastal cowgirl aesthetic or what, but I am still loving them for spring. The switch here would be to opt for a lighter color & make sure the material is lightweight. That way, you can just throw it on top of all your outfits when it’s chilly at night. Perfect for California Summer weather!
So there you have it! My favorite items to spruce up all your outfits this spring. If you’re looking for more tips & tricks, follow me on my Instagram. I’m always popping onto my stories to share all the goodness with y’all!
All For Now,
